Our Purpose
It is through daily relational and educational rhythms that we witness our students embrace the unique traits, characteristics, and creativity that God has instilled in each of them. It is our hope that all children who share a part of their life with us at MVCC feel a sense of belonging and develop an ongoing awareness of the depths of God’s great love for them while they participate and learn.
Our pathways to fulfilling this desire include…
-
Equipping and maintaining a highly qualified staff of teachers who are passionate about teaching preschool-age children.
-
Utilizing a well-rounded curriculum that places an emphasis on knowing God’s Story, teaches age-appropriate academics, and shepherds the work of becoming overall good citizens.
-
Coming alongside children as they advance in their social skills from being at home to attending school with other children.
-
Sparking our student’s interest and creativity with daily crafts and special activities.
-
Being intentional about building healthy relationships with God and others. This includes learning to take personal responsibility, emotional management development, participating in teamwork, and affirming God’s love for ourselves and others.
- Partnering with parents in specific areas of their child’s development.
- Going beyond our preschool walls with a commitment to continuously invite our students and their families to our greater community at MVC when opportunities for engagement arise.
